During this training, attendees will learn what is happening in Litchfield County, how to recognize an overdose, what to do in the event of an overdose, how to administer Narcan (the medication that reverses an opioid overdose) and resources available in our communities. Each participant will receive a Narcan kit at no cost. We encourage everyone to have Narcan. available in their first aid kit. Families, friends, community members, organizations and businesses are all encouraged to attend.
